Five Arrested in Drug Bust

(Superior, WI) - On Tuesday, October 27, 2015 members of the Northwest Area Crime Unit and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at 1520 Ogden Avenue in the City of Superior. The search warrant was a result of a joint investigation into the trafficking of heroin through the residence.

Located in the residence was a total of 77.07 grams of heroin, $6,024.00 in U.S. currency, numerous items of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. 77.07 grams of heroin has an approximate street value of $15,000.00.

Marshawn Johnson was arrested outside of the residence after a short foot pursuit with Investigators. Johnson made an initial appearance in Douglas County Circuit Court on 10/30/2015. Johnson was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver - Heroin (10-50g) and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.

Michael Jenkins was arrested inside 1520 Ogden Ave. Jenkins is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver - Heroin (10-50g).

Matthew Thompson was arrested inside 1520 Ogden Ave. Thompson is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver - Heroin (10-50g) and Possession of Narcotic Drugs.

Lydia Higgins was arrested inside 1520 Ogden Ave. Higgins is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver - Heroin (10-50g) and Possession of Narcotic Drugs.

Braxton Lahti was arrested inside 1520 Ogden Ave. Lahti is charged with Possession of Narcotic Drugs.
