Superior Man Dies in Single Vehicle Crash

A 37 year old Superior man was pronounced dead at the scene of a single vehicle rollover accident on USH 53 at the USH 2 interchange in Amnicon township Sunday night.  The crash was reported to Douglas County 911 at 11:21pm.

The victim was identified as Craig P. Gotelaere, 37, Superior.  He was the lone occupant/driver  of the vehicle and had been traveling north on USH 53 when the the vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times.  He was wearing a seatbelt.

The crash is under investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and the Douglas County Medical Examiner.
