Two Killed in Sunday Evening Motorcycle crash

Two persons were killed on Sunday when the motorcycle they were riding collided with an automobile.

The crash was reported at 7:05pm at CTH E at the intersection with Orchard Drive in the town of Parkland. 

A southbound automobile driven by a 63 yr old Superior woman was making a left turn onto Orchard Drive when a motorcycle, also southbound, approached at high speed and collided with the rear of the auto. Both the operator of the motorcycle, a 23 yr old South Range man, and the rider, a 23 yr old South Range woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Names are being withheld at this time pending notification of family.  The crash is under investigation by the Sheriff's Office and Medical Examiner.
